Qualifications

  •  High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-year teaching experience preferred. In lieu of teaching experience, willing to consider candidates with equivalent professional expertise.
  • Evidence of knowledge of curriculum or area of study (Qur’aan, Arabic, Islaamic Studies) and/or the ability to implement it.
  •  Must interact collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
  • Must possess excellent written, oral, and electronic communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a stimulating learning environment.
  • Provide support and assistance to students throughout the semester.
  • Execute lesson plans in a manner that instruction can be accomplished within the allotted time frame.
  • Follow policies and procedures as set forth by Administration.
  • Record accurate, complete, and correct attendance records.
  • Grade homework and other assignments and provide feedback to students in a timely manner.
  • Attend staff meetings, educational conferences, and training workshops to maintain and improve professional competency.
