Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for." Sahih Bukhari

"Seek (beneficial) knowledge, because seeking it for the sake of Allaah is a worship. And knowing it makes you more God-fearing; and searching for it is jihad, teaching it to those who do not know is charity, reviewing and learning it more is like tasbeeh.Through knowledge Allaah will be known and worshiped.” — Ibn Taymiyyah

"Purifying the soul, acting upon knowledge, and fearing Allah have a tremendous effect on obtaining knowledge." — Ibn Taymiyyah
